This calculator estimates monthly credits across search results, caption transcripts, Premium transcripts, and monitor alerts, then compares the estimate with each plan.
How Arcmira API credits are used
- Transcript search: the first five passages in each request are free; every additional passage uses 4 credits. Repeating the same request within seven days costs nothing.
- Caption transcripts: 4 credits for each started 15-minute block of a transcript. The calculator rounds each video up to the next block.
- Premium transcripts: 300 credits for each started 15-minute block of the full video, once per account. Premium transcripts are available on Pro and higher plans.
- Monitor alerts: 25 credits per alert occurrence.
Plan allowances and on-demand usage
Free includes 1,000 credits per month. Pro includes 20,000 credits for $20 per month, Pro+ includes 60,000 for $60, and Ultra includes 400,000 for $200. Annual billing is 20% less and is paid upfront. The calculator uses standard prices; introductory offers and the Pro trial are excluded.
Paid plans can keep working after their included credits run out when an account admin enables on-demand usage. Additional credits cost $0.002 each, up to the monthly budget set for the account. Free has no on-demand usage, does not include Premium transcripts, and withholds the newest 30 days of media. Paid plans and active Pro trials unlock current indexed media as Arcmira processes it. Plan credits reset on the first day of each month in UTC.
Arcmira shares one credit balance across the website, API, CLI, and MCP server. The estimate assumes the entered reads are chargeable; already-owned Premium transcripts in the same language and repeated requests within seven days do not use credits. On-demand charges are billed to the card in account-specific invoice increments; the estimate shows accrued usage, so invoice timing and amounts can differ. The $0.002 rate applies to on-demand credits after plan credits run out. Paid plan allowances, free search passages, transcript rounding, Premium access, and an optional monthly on-demand limit are included in the calculator.
The calculator applies the published unit rate in a straight line. Included quotas, tiers, minimums, regional charges, and other billing lines can change the total.
